It’s summer and there is an abundance of fresh summer fruit.  One favourite fruit is the melon (or cantaloupe), especially when eaten slightly chilled. You can make more out of your melon by making a Blueberries and Kolios Greek yogurt mix in fresh Cantaloupe bowl.

Cantaloupe is a great fruit to consume as it is rich in beta carotene which is either converted into Vitamin A or acts as a powerful antioxidant. [1] It is rich in Vitamin C, folate, fibre and potassium. [2]

Making the Blueberries and Kolios Greek yogurt mix in fresh Cantaloupe bowl is really easy and fun. Start by cutting a (chilled) melon in half and cleaning the seeds. (Always throw the compost-able parts in a compost heap or as bird feed). Then add some blueberries at the bottom of the cantaloupe bowl. Cover them in fresh zero fat Kolios Greek yogurt. Add some more blueberries on the top.

Wash clean some fresh peaches and cut into wedges that you can dip into the yogurt. Take out a spoon and start digging in.

Ingredients needed for the Blueberries and Kolios Greek yogurt mix in fresh Cantaloupe bowl

  • 1/2 a fresh cantaloupe
  • 1 or 2 sliced peaches
  • 1/2 a tub of Kolios zero fat Greek Yougurt
  • A handful of blueberries

Alternatively you can try out this breakfast mix with Kolios Greek yogurt.
