A spring morning snack – with Kolios

It’s a cold rainy and wet spring morning. Mother nature is busy watering all it’s blossoming flowers around the island, yet for most of us we need to wake up and go to work rather than jump in puddles in our beautiful countryside. Maybe this weekend!

Whilst some might take some caffeine or a cup of tea to help them open their sticky shutters open, a snack in the morning is key to starting the day in the right manner. In my daughter’s case, she is a big fan of having some yoghurt in the morning, plain or sometimes added with some muesli or cereal. Which is why she was the perfect candidate to try out Kolios Authentic Greek Yoghurt on a strawberry layer. A disappearing act followed!

Clearly this 150g tub is the right size for a morning or even afternoon snack. Additionally it is fat free with a strawberry layer at the bottom of the tub. You can still chop some fresh fruit and add it to your yoghurt. Interestingly, one tub provides you with around 20% of your daily protein requirement with only 188 kcal.

The range comes in four different flavours; peach, blueberry, pomegranate & raspberry and finally strawberry.

Kolios is imported locally by Quality Foods Marketing Ltd. A tub of 150g Kolios Authentic Greek Yoghurt on a strawberry layer costs €1.65.
