FoE Malta is collaborating with Judy Wilmot who will be leading the cooking class. She is experienced in vegan cooking and would like to share her ideas so that more people might consider this change in lifestyle, for the benefit of their personal health, the environment and animal rights.
The purpose of this demonstration is to help people make the transition to a healthier diet with the minimum of fuss and effort. It can be done without sacrificing nutrition or the pleasure of eating tasty food.
The demonstration includes several every-day meals using a variety of meat substitutes, recipes for a week. This will be followed by a communal lunch that we will prepare and enjoy together.
Participants: 8 total participants (spaces are limited, please book in advance).
Location: Marsascala
Dates: Sun 26th November
Time: 10am–1pm
Workshop is FREE for participants. A donation of €10 is requested to reserve a space. This will be refunded upon attendance.
This workshop is part of a series for the School of Sustainability Projects (financed by the European Commission) which allows FoE Malta to implement informal educational activities to develop mindsets based on the principles of sustainability and trigger action for environmental protection and social justice.
