Gluten-free vegan chickpea bread

Filled with flavor, this bread would be a nice kick to your breakfast, lunch or dinner… If you decide to make it! It is a very easy recipe, all you will need to wash up afterwards is one bowl. Packed with various healthy spices, fiber and nutrition, with no wheat flour which makes it good alternative for gluten intolerant people. Try it out and see for yourself . GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN CHICKPEA BREAD

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour - I used Good Earth brand
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander(or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup plant-based yogurt - I used Alpro greek style
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl mix the flour and spices together.
  • Add yogurt, water and lemon juice and combine well.
  • Grease a loaf tin and lay it with baking paper. Transfer the mixture in the tin and place in the oven.
  • Bake at 200°C about 15-20 minutes.
  • Serve with various spreads, soups or instead of normal bread with breakfast 🙂
